Oh I already ordered it from Tulika and READ it..its awesome..Gosh I am such an idiot, I forgot to tell you girls...I so loved the book (and errr...just to let you know I am 29!) its a fun read, a great narrative and a great book to give someone who is 13 (I know Tulika states 10+ but somehow I felt it would be more appropriate for someone who is 12+ , dont ask me why) I loved it..totally loved it..so is there a part 2 to this? *Hoping and praying there is*
@R's Mom- Aren't you a gulab jamun? Yay. Thangyou so very much. About Part 2- we don't know yet. I think it'll depend on how well the book does. I hope we do. It was so much fun working on it. Yes, 12+ is more like it- Mayil is 12, after all. But some 10 year olds will be able to relate to it as well, so that eech why. At some point, we'd like to put up book reviews on the microsite and/or the Tulika blog. Would you like to do one? No need to feel obliged and all. Do if you feel like it.
Ordering it ASAP for the newly-turned-10-yr-old!Pregnant? Congrats, GB!
Keep going! I pray tens of thousands of copies get sold of this book. The book is a pioneer of its kind in Indian scenario!
I will be in Chennai for two weeks. Will surely pick up a copy from Landmark if one is (still) available; else, will order it online. :)

Sooo annoyed. It was not in Flipkart when I came to India and when I finally made it to a bookstore (some Sapna Book House) I drove them mad making them check their system for it but IT WAS NOT THERE! I feel so cheated. Boo!
Done ordered it :)
@Sandhya- Thank you on both counts :)@Chandrima- Didn't know you'd read it! Glad!@Srini- Yay!@R's Mom- Thanks, thanks@The Bride- How sweet are you :D You can order it off the Tulika site, but I think you'll have to pay in dollars (10 dollars). Or ask someone in India to order it and you can pay in rupees- either on Tulika or Flipkart and get it the nex time you come.@Lifecurry- Yippie :D
Loved the book. Esp the section written with the Lotus, thatha and Mayil.Could totally relate the book to my school days.Waiting for the Mayilwriter to strike again :)
@GB: You don't provide your email id here on your blog? You know, just in case somebody wants to write to you. I know that's why we have comments section but if someone wants to write to you, where only you would read it and not all others. Fan mails, love mails and hate mails et all!(Ok, not the hate mails but other mails :) ) I looked at the whole blog but didn't see it, then I looked at your profile page, but it isn't there also....Shilpa
